COLLECTION: DANIA ALTAMIMI

Dania Al Tamimi (b. 1997) is a multidisciplinary artist, researcher, curator and a full-time thinker, raised in the U.A.E. Irony, repetition and playfulness are visible elements in her practice, infinitely filled with a trajectory of curiosity, questionings and poetry. Conceptually her artistic practice focuses on questioning definitions and binaries, while challenging materials to explore their limits. Al Tamimi is currently a curator at Dirwaza Curatorial Lab and has recently co-founded Rummān Collective, an online platform for emerging artists, encouraging a dialogue within the art community. Al Tamimi graduated with a BA in Fine Arts from the College of Fine Arts & Design at the University of Sharjah.
