SULTAN ALREMEITHI

Sultan AlRemeithi (b.1989, Abu Dhabi) received his BA from UAL: Camberwell College of the Arts. AlRemeithi is interested in our interactions with objects and architectures familiar to us, through the use of various mediums and an expressive, bright palette, underpinned by a tone of irony and satire. AlRemeithi explores the structural tectonics of how lived environments segment and enforce class distinction. In this body of work, he is interested in the UAE’s perception and values of modern life, highlighting an unpleasant outskirt that collectively as a society we choose not to look at.
