Almaha Jaralla is a contemporary visual artist who has completed her BFA in Visual Arts at Zayed University. Born and raised in the quiet suburbs of Abu Dhabi, much of her artistic inspiration comes from deconstructing facets of her own upbringing in a conservative Emirati family, discussing the eclectic architecture and societal norms and the role of women. Her works have been exhibited in Sikka Art Fair, Dubai and Converging Lines, Venice. She currently works as an artist’s apprentice and painting assistant for Hashel Al Lamki at Bait 15 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
