MOHAMMED KHALID

Mohammed Khalid (b. Dubai 1996) is an artist walking, running, cycling and driving.

Khalid explores mundane experiences and interactions through meticulous gestures of drawing receipts, photographing sunsets, composing fictional tours and stealing corporate pens. He attempts to extract and question relationships between hidden narratives, speculative identity, and fictionalized histories.

Khalid is an alumnus of Salama bint Hamdan Emerging Artists Fellowship and Campus Art Dubai 7.0 with previous group shows at Art Dubai, Warehouse421 and Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
