In negotiating states of matter, there is pressure. Internally manifested, or strictly instigated by external factors, pressure is equally present, and demanding. 

Artists Dania Al Tamimi, Majd Alloush, and Khawla Al Marzooqi witness pressure manifest in multiple states. Captured in moments of transformation, through vulnerability and apparent stability, the artists map and portray various iterations of pressure, whether it's the truth in the colours we see, the validity of the memories we construct or the dictates of our societies. Pressure ultimately presents itself tied to multiple forces and their drastic applications. With distinguishable visual languages, the artists share a conceptual throughline: that of experiencing pressure, resisting it, and, astutely, redefining it beyond its physicality.
